This week’s PokerStars Sunday Million was massive as usual, drawing in 7,651 players and exceeding the guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million.
Gunslinger3 began the final table in the middle of the leadboard but his dominating play in the late stages gave him the title of Sunday Million champion and a score well over six-figures.

Octavian_C had run his pocket jacks into pocket kings a few hands earlier and was shortstacked with less than two big blinds. With blinds at 300K/600K (60K ante) RBC* raised to 1.5 million from under-the-gun and Octavian_C called for his last 936,984.

In a battle of the blinds exomil raised all-in for 3.2 million from the small blind and M.nosbocaJ, sitting with over 14 million, called from the big blind.

exomil didn’t hit the duece he needed and was eliminated in 8th place.

bastinho06 raised to 1.8 million from the button and Neab moved all-in for another 175K, an automatic call for bastinho06.

bastinho06’s pocket tens held up against Neab’s ace, sending Neab to the rail in 7th place for $26,778.50.

x-13 began the final table with one of the biggest stacks but after slipping to the bottom of the pack he got caught in an unlucky pair-over-pair-over-pair situation.
With blinds at 400K/800K (80K ante), RBC* started the pre-flop action by raising to 2 million from under-the-gun. bastinho06 reraised to 4.8 million and x-13 moved all-in for just 118K more. Action folded back around to RBC* and he moved all-in over the top for almost 9 million. bastinho06 called and it was a three-way showdown all-in before the flop.

RBC*’s pocket kings scooped the pot of 24.5 million, eliminating x-13 in 6th place. bastinho06 was left with 11.2 million after the hand.
A few hands later the remaining five players paused the tournament and agreed on a chop according to chip counts.

Gunslinger3’s king-high held up to eliminate bastinho06, increasing the massive chip lead he gained a few hands earlier when he picked up pocket aces against chipleader RBC*’s pocket kings.

RBC* had his stack devastated shortly after the deal was made but came back from 3.5 million all the way to 16 million. Gunslinger3 raised to 2.4 million before the flop, RBC* moved all-in and Gunslinger3 called.

Gunslinger3’s pair held up and the pot propelled him into an even more dominant spot with 61 million versus the 10.6 million of M.nosbocaJ and the 4.2 million of OCTAGONS.

On the very next hand after RBC* was eliminated Gunslinger3 opened the pre-flop betting again, making it 4.4 million to go from the small blind. OCTAGONS called all-in for the rest of his stack from the big blind.

Gunslinger3’s hand held up again and play was down to heads-up, with Gunslinger3 firmly in the lead with 65.9 million against M.nosbocaJ’s 10.5 million.

After seven hands of heads-up action Gunslinger3 raised enough to put M.nosbocaJ all-in for his last 7.8 million. M.nosbocaJ called and the hands were revealed.
